Digital Wallets
A digital wallet is a service that saves a person's payment info so they can access saved credit and debit cards on trusted devices. When you use Blackbaud Merchant Services as your payment processor, you can accept digital wallets (such as Apple Pay and PayPal) for payments made through online forms.
Supporters can pay with Apple Pay for one-time and recurring gifts when using a compatible Apple device with the latest version of iOS or iPadOS, watchOS, or macOS. For a website to accept Apple Pay, its domain must be verified with Apple.
-
Donation forms launched from a Blackbaud-hosted URL are already verified and display Apple Pay automatically.
-
Donation forms that are embedded or launched from a hyperlink or button on your organization's website, you must verify your domain. For more information on how to set up Apple Pay for Standard and Optimized Donation Forms, see Apple Pay Setup.
With Google Pay, supporters can make payments using a credit or debit card saved to their Google account.
