From the Development Office page, you can create GL mappings for multiple types of transactions.

On the Payments tab, you can add debit and credit account and account code mappings to use when generating GL distributions. You can also specify other criteria, such as payment methods, and subtypes for credit cards and property. Once you define the mapping, you can edit or delete it as necessary. For more information about mapping a payment, see Add Mapping for Payments.
On the Pledges tab, you can add debit and credit account and account code mappings to use when generating GL distributions. You can also specify generation criteria, such as pledge type and subtypes. Once you define the mapping, you can edit or delete it as necessary. For more information about mapping a pledge, see Add Mapping for Pledges.
On the Benefits tab, you can add debit and credit account and account code mappings to use when generating GL distributions. You can also specify generation criteria, such as benefit subtypes. Once you define the mapping, you can edit or delete it as necessary. For more information about mapping a benefit, see Add Mapping for Benefits.
On the Planned Gifts tab, you can add debit and credit account and account code mappings to use when generating GL distributions. You can also specify generation criteria, such as planned gift vehicles. Once you define the mapping, you can edit or delete it as necessary. On the Grant Awards tab, you can add debit and credit account and account code mappings to use when generating GL distributions. You can also specify generation criteria, such as grant award or grant write-off. Once you define the mapping, you can edit or delete it as necessary. On the Gift Fees tab, you can add debit and credit account and account code mappings to use when generating GL distributions. You can also specify generation criteria, such as payment methods. On the Auctions tab, you can add debit and credit account and account code mappings to use to generate GL distributions for auction donations and auction purchase gain/loss. After you define the mapping, you can edit or delete it as necessary. On the Currency tab, when Multicurrency is enabled, you can determine which GL accounts to credit or debit for gains and losses related to commitment revaluations. You can also select the account for GL distributions related to balancing revenue when the payment and account system use different base currencies. For more information, see the Multicurrency section of the help file or the Multicurrency Guide.
On the Membership Installments tab, you can add debit and credit account and account code mappings to use to generate GL distributions for membership installment plans, both the contributed and earned or dues portions, as well as for add-ons and write-offs associated with membership installment plans.
