General community
In the 24.5.5 release, we updated the IDS basic login so the First time logging in? checkbox does not appear if there are no temporary password instructions set by a user's employer.
This prompt text is configurable in the YC Admin.
Note: It takes one minute for updates to appear in the UI after you make changes in YC Admin.
For more information, see the internal wiki Login User Experience.
Previously, the Stranded Funds Automation process gave employees a 14-day window to redirect their stranded funds. We have increased this window to 30 days. In addition to the existing 14-day and 7-day notification emails, employees will now receive a notification 30 days before their redirection deadline.
For more information, see Stranded Funds Automation.
View the Stranded Funds Automation email notifications in the Email Library.
Peer to Peer Fundraising
Previously, you could only search for Peer to Peer Fundraisers using the fundraiser’s name. We have updated the search on the Fundraising Community home page so you can search by the fundraiser creator’s name or the charity’s name.
Volunteer
When managing event participants, event creators and organizers can now:
-
Select Participants to view all event participants.
-
View 20 (default), 50, or 100 participants listed at one time.
-
View whether a participant is an employee or guest.
-
Filter the list by participants by check-in status.
-
Sort by participant type.
-
Sort by shift.
-
Search for a participant’s name and their associated guests.
-
Select all participants listed.
For more information, see Manage an event in Manage events and projects.
When MSA Code for a submitted volunteer opportunity or Record Individual Activity (RIA) contains a location and organization code, it can be updated, but cannot be cleared and left blank.
For more information, see Manage events and projects.
When participants sign up for an event, any meetup instructions are now included in the event sign up and reminder email messages.
Note: HTML and markdown are not enabled for this field.
For more information, see the Participation Confirmation and Participation Reminder email messages located in the CSRconnect Email Library.
Reporting
The following are new data points added to data feeds:
-
The custom_question_response_id data point identifies the unique ID for a custom question response in the Custom Questions data feed.
-
The cra_creator_custom_question_set_response_id data point on the Volunteer data feed associates a CRA custom question set to volunteer events and projects.
For more information, see Data feeds.
The Custom Question Datasource in Tableau now includes a Custom Question Input Type data point (column) in the Custom Questions Data section.
Input types include:
-
Multiple Choice
-

-

-
Dialog Box
-

-

-

-
Date Field
We’ve removed Data Hub report listings and permissions tied to them that are no longer available. In addition, we renamed the Data Hub permissions section to “Data Feeds” and only included permissions for data feeds in this section.
CSRconnect Admin Portal
Previously, admins could only design and save one splash modal at a time in the CSRconnect Admin Portal. We have added a new Splash Modal Manager page, which allows admins to create, save, and schedule multiple splash modals. Only one splash modal can be active at a time per segment.
Existing splash modals were migrated into the new Splash Modal Manager using their existing settings. In the case of any data errors where the splash modal had no Active Date Range, the Start Date and End Date have been set to the date the community’s home page settings or the splash modal were last edited.
For more information, see Splash Modals.
Previously, admins could not clear the Associate with Engagement Element field once they had selected an engagement element on the Edit Splash Modal page. You can now select None when you wish to remove an engagement element association from a splash modal.
We’ve updated the design preview on the Community Branding page to reflect CSRconnect’s current layout. We have also removed settings from the Additional Color Options section that were no longer in use.
Previously, the Fundraising Design page was part of the Community Settings section of the CSRconnect Admin Portal. We have now moved this page to CSRconnect Admin Portal, Fundraisers, Fundraising Design.
