What's coming soon
Faster, more direct nonprofit funding with Blackbaud Integrated Payments
Note: This update is coming soon!
This release enhances how donations and grants flow from YourCause® from Blackbaud to nonprofits by introducing Blackbaud Integrated Payments as an additional disbursement option. With this option, organizations and nonprofits have more flexibility in how approved funds are delivered and managed.
When eligible donations and grants are processed through Blackbaud Integrated Payments, funds follow standard charitable disbursement paths and are then deposited into the nonprofit’s connected merchant account. This allows nonprofits to receive funds through their merchant account instead of relying solely on traditional disbursement methods. As a result, nonprofits can manage their YourCause funds alongside their other Blackbaud Integrated Payments activity and use existing merchant account features to support their operational preferences across CSRconnect, GrantsConnect, and Blackbaud Verified Network.
Highlights
-
More flexible disbursement options and improved reporting for eligible donations and grants within Blackbaud Verified Network
-
Recurring credit card donations supported for eligible nonprofits
-
Improved donor communications and nonprofit receipts for IRS reporting
General community
New share link displays all groups in a program
Users can now share a direct link to a group program that opens the full list of groups. Previously, shared links would display a filtered or partial list, requiring users to clear searches, then select View More Groups Near You.
With this update, the direct link to groups automatically loads a complete list, and a new share action makes it easy to copy and distribute this link.
Volunteer pages redesigned
To continue modernizing the user experience in CSRconnect, we have redesigned the Create Opportunity and Record Individual Activity landing pages.
-
On Create Opportunity, the tiles have been redesigned to highlight the opportunity status (Draft, Pending Approval, Published) and how many participants have signed up.
-
In addition to Add Hours option, the tiles on Record Individual Activity now include a link to edit the activity’s details or delete the activity. The new tiles also highlight the reason why an activity is not editable, such as a VTO request or an Incentive request.
Tables now adapt for smaller screen sizes
We have updated our tables across CSRconnect to better adapt to small screen sizes and improve performance on mobile devices. On small screens, tables may adjust their column size and introduce a scroll bar as needed. For some tables, the Action menu has moved and is now the first column.
Slovak added as language option
We have added Slovak as a language option to help you engage more employees globally. You can select Slovak as your preferred language from My Account and you can save Slovak translations for any text field that supports custom translations.
Note: If you previously used the Autotranslate All Languages feature, you will need to add a translation for Slovak or regenerate all translations.
Search Opportunities filters retained
When you open an opportunity from Search Opportunities and then use the back button, any search terms and filters you selected on Search Opportunities will now be retained. This will allow employees to browse volunteer opportunities without having to reenter their search criteria.
Give
Automated rollover for recurring credit card pledges
Recurring credit card pledges now automatically roll over to the next eligible match program when their current program expires. A new scheduled job evaluates each pledge using existing match eligibility criteria, including user, charity, donation amount, and program requirements, and creates a new match request when all checks pass.
Use the new Rollover Settings to designate a new credit card match program as the rollover target for a previous credit card match program.
Note: The match programs must have compatible employee categories, charity eligibility, match amounts, and currency. Donations that do not meet the new match program's eligibility criteria will not be rolled over.
If no eligible program is available, the pledge is skipped with no errors.
This automated process reuses the same eligibility logic as the checkout flow and payroll rollover process, and logs results with no changes to existing rollover tools.
Improved management of recurring credit card pledges in stranded funds automation hold
Recurring credit card pledges are now automatically canceled when a related transaction enters a Stranded Funds Automation (SFA) hold, stopping all future installments, canceling any associated match request, and notifying the donor with the reason for cancellation to prevent further processing on inactive or held donations.
Reporting
Stranded Funds Automation reporting enhancements
To help you understand your organization’s stranded funds, we have made the following enhancements to the Transactions on Hold report:
-
When you build an export of the Transactions on Hold report, you can now select whether your report should include transactions currently on hold (Hold) or transactions whose holds have been resolved (Hold Processed).
-
We have added 37 columns to the Transactions on Hold report to provide additional details about the holds placed on your transactions, the associated processors, and the dates within the SFA redirect process.
-
We have removed the Number of Payment Attempts column. You can still find this data in the Number of Payment column.
CSRconnect Admin Portal
Match program type filter added to Match Programs list
You can now filter your match programs by program type (All, Volunteer, Credit Card, Payroll, Offline). For the volunteer type, you can also filter by the type of volunteer match program (All, Individual, Team, Individual+Team).
