Get Started with Ad Hoc Reporting
The Reporting > Ad Hoc and Data Feeds area is used to report on a program’s assets like applications, budgets, payments, and more. Reports can be generated whenever they are needed and shared with others in your organization.

There are several options for creating Ad Hoc reports. The option you choose may depend on what you want to accomplish with your reporting.
Tip: When creating reports, it is recommended to apply filters to ensure the final report contains the specific data you need. For more information, see Filter Data in Reports.
In addition to viewing reports in the Grant Manager Portal, you can also distribute reports to others using any of the options below.

Download - Export the report as a
CSV
orExcel
file for your own records or share with your team outside of GrantsConnect. -
Share with other Grant Managers - Share the report with other Grant Managers in your organization. The report will be visible in the Grant Manager Portal. This option allows you to grant users Manage or View only permissions.

Send to an audience - Send a copy of the report (
CSV
orExcel
) to an audience you have created, other Grant Managers in your organization, or external users. This option allows you to specify the amount of time (i.e., hours) that recipients will have access to the report.Note: The report is only sent once. All recipients receive the report based on the sender's current data permissions.

Send to an audience on a schedule - Send a copy of the report (

orExcel
) to an audience you have created, other Grant Managers in your organization, or external users. This option allows you to specify the amount of time (i.e., hours) that recipients will have access to the report.Note: The report can be scheduled to send daily, weekly, or monthly. It can be made available in the Data Feed (requires SFTP connection) or as a downloadable file sent via email. All recipients receive the report based on the sender's current data permissions.
