Opportunity records
Opportunity records show key details about each opportunity, including related activities and the effectiveness of your fundraising efforts. To view an opportunity record, select its name from a constituent record or list.

Summary
At the top of the record, view pertinent details about the opportunity, including its constituent, purpose, and status. For details about this information, see Opportunity summary.
Note: An opportunity can only be associated with one constituent. However, a constituent may have multiple opportunities associated with them.
Actions
Under Actions, view and manage interactions and tasks that help cultivate relationships and major gifts. For each action, see details such as the date, status (including past due), and related notes. To manage or view more details, select the action name. For information, see Actions.
Assigned to
Under Assigned to, review and update the fundraisers assigned to the opportunity and the credit they receive for gifts. For more information, see Fundraisers.
To update fundraiser assignments:
Select Edit, under Assigned to.
Update the assignments or credit amounts.
Select Save.
Attachments
Under Attachments, view and manage files related to the opportunity, such as a formal gift agreement. For more information, see Attachments.
Tip: In the database view, you can attach files on the Media tab of proposal records. These files appear under Attachments on opportunity records in the web view. However, we strongly recommend you save these files as attachments in the web view instead.
Custom fields
Under Custom fields, view and manage specialized information your organization tracks about the opportunity. For each field, see its name (category), value, date added, and comments. For details, see Custom fields.
Details
Under Details, view and manage the intended uses for gifts given in response to the opportunity, how you expect to receive them, and the likelihood of receiving them. For more information, see Opportunity Details.
Funding
Under Funding, view and manage gift amounts and dates to track over the life of the opportunity, including amounts asked, expected, and received. To update this information, select Edit. For more information, see Opportunity funding amounts.
Under Linked gifts, view all gifts received as a result of the opportunity and details about each, including its amount, type, and fund, and date received. For more information, see Linked gifts.
Status
Under Opportunity status, view where the opportunity is in your solicitation process(such as Initial contact, Pending, or Accepted) and how long it’s been in the current stage. Use the arrows on the timeline to view the history of statuses. To view details about a status, select its section on the timeline. To view a list of the opportunity's previous statuses, select Show status history. For more information, see Opportunity status.
