Payment label updates for My Incentives and My Giving
Transaction Details under My Incentives, Redeemed History and Donation Activity and Donation History under Give, My Giving now show payment‑neutral labels that align with system terminology.
-
Check Number is now Payment Number.
-
Check Date is now Payment Date.
-
Check Cashed Date is now Payment Received Date.
Using payment‑neutral labels ensures the information accurately reflects the data shown, regardless of how the incentive or donation is delivered. This update also ensures consistent terminology matching the YourCause Processing Portal.
Stranded Funds Automation redirection update
With the passage of US H.R. 1 in 2025, we have updated the Stranded Funds Automation process to ensure employee donations are compliant and tax-deductible. All employees outside of California will no longer be prompted to select a redirect charity for their stranded fund donations. Stranded funds from those employees will be automatically redirected to the employer’s preferred alternate organization.
For California employees, the previous stranded funds automation experience remains available to comply with California-specific requirements under CA A.B. 488.
Visit the YourCause Community for more information about YourCause’s approach to H.R. 1 compliance.
You can see updated stranded funds automation notifications in the Email Library.
Home page section order now customizable
You can now reorder the sections on your community home page to highlight the programs that are most important to your organization. From the Home page design settings, you can choose the order for your Give, Volunteer, and Fundraisers sections.
Charity and opportunity pages updated for improved user experience
We have updated the layout of our charity pages and volunteer opportunity pages to modernize and streamline them. The new page designs now hide features that do not have content to display, making pages more compact.
-
Opportunity pages for events and projects now hide the Documents and Resources section when there are no uploaded documents.
-
Charity pages now hide the Upcoming Opportunities section when there are no upcoming volunteer opportunities for that charity.

GDPR Opt-Out Confirmation for Active Recurring Pledges
Employees who request to delete their data now see a clear confirmation step before the request continues. When an employee with active recurring pledges selects Request to Delete Your Data from Community, My Account, a summary of the impact displays.
The confirmation step lists the employee’s active recurring pledges, including amount, frequency, pledge type, and charitable organization, and explains that deleting data cancels the listed pledges and obfuscates the employee’s data. Employees can select Cancel Request to keep pledges active or Proceed with GDPR Opt-Out to cancel the pledges and continue.
For more information, see Personal data.
Cancellation confirmation emails for recurring credit card donations
CSRconnect now saves a cancellation reason at the pledge level and includes that reason in donor notifications, helping donors understand what happened and why. By recording and sharing the cancellation reason, donors receive timely, transparent communication that explains the outcome of their pledge.
The following are reasons a donor may receive a recurring credit card donation cancellation email:
-
Your credit card payment couldn’t be completed by your credit card processor.
-
Your employee account has been deactivated by your employer.
-
Your organization changed its fee coverage.
-
Your organization or the receiving nonprofit updated its Expedited Giving’s settings.
-
You have chosen to deactivate your donation.
-
Under California law (Assembly Bill 488), donations made by California residents can only be processed for nonprofits that meet specific registration and eligibility requirements. After your donation was confirmed, the nonprofit became ineligible to accept donations under this law.
-
Your funds are being held because of stranded funds automation (SFA).
-
The receiving charity has become inactive or ineligible to receive donations.
For more information, see the Donation Canceled (G023) template in the Email Library. Also, see My Giving.
Peer to Peer Fundraising
Residency selection prompt for guests added to Peer to Peer Fundraisers
For guests donating to public peer to peer fundraisers, we will now prompt them to select a residency location before they can donate. We collect a visitor's residency information to ensure California residents do not donate to charities that are not eligible for donation under California Assembly Bill 488.
Reporting
Updates to Custom Question, Employees, and Payments data feeds
We have made the following data feed updates:
-
When Community Partner charities create a volunteer event for your community in the Blackbaud Verified Network, the event organizers’ answers to any required custom questions will now appear in the Custom Questions data feed.
-
The Employees data feed will now include a last_hr_import_date column.
-
The payment_amount column in the Payments data feed will now be set to null. This change supports an upcoming enhancement to streamline our charity payment disbursements.
Transactions on Hold report updates
To support the recent updates to Stranded Funds Automation, we have made the following changes to the Transactions on Hold report:
-
The Stranded Funds Automation Status column now breaks out the Automation status into types: Automation-User Default, Automation-Affiliate Default, and Automation-ProcessorCharity.
-
We have added two new columns to the report: Number of Payment Attempts and Donor CA or non-CA.
