What do I need to do to receive donations?
The Blackbaud Giving Fund (BBGF) disburses donations on behalf of our corporate giving programs. The disbursement schedules are set by the client. Most client disburse monthly or quarterly.
To ensure there is no delay in your funds, we suggest checking that the following are completed in your nonprofit's account in NPOconnect.
-
Ensure you have at least one active Nonprofit Administrator registered for your organization.
-
Check your vetting status in the Vetting area.
Note: Your organization may be automatically eligible to receive donations through BBGF based on your registration authority. If not, you may be required to apply for vetting to become eligible. For more information, see Apply for Vetting.
-
Complete all compliance agreements and affirmations in the Administration > Compliance / Affirmation area.
-
Sign up for ACH or ensure the disbursement address on file for your organization in the Administration > Disbursement Information area is correct.
Note: If you've signed up for ACH, donations will be disbursed by ACH. Otherwise, a paper check will be mailed to your disbursement address.
-
Select your affiliations in the Administration > Profile area to make it easier for donors to find you in YourCause CSRconnect.
-
Verify pending donations in the Giving > Donation Verification area and volunteer hours in the Volunteering > Volunteer Hour Verification area, if available.
After completing the tasks above, BBGF will process funds and send them out according to the schedule established with our clients. If further action or information is needed, we will notify active Nonprofit Administrators registered with your organization.
