Peer to Peer Fundraising
The Peer to Peer Fundraising feature allows your employees to create new fundraisers for charitable organizations and donate to fundraisers made by your community.
Peer to Peer Fundraising pages
This is the hub for fundraising in your community. From this page, users can create fundraisers, view featured fundraisers, and search for fundraisers made by their peers. Only registered users can view Explore Fundraisers. It is not visible to external donors.
When creating a fundraiser, employees can choose to make the page private. Private fundraisers will not appear in Explore Fundraisers. Employees can share private fundraisers through a direct link.
Note: You may see this page also referred to as the Fundraising home page or Fundraising Community.
Each fundraiser has its own page with custom content, a donation flow, donation tracking, and social share options, if enabled.
The progress bar total includes company match contributions only after match contributions have been approved by an admin. The Recent Donations section does not display company match contributions.
This is a personal dashboard for users to manage the fundraisers they've created. Fundraiser creators can view summary metrics about their fundraising, edit and monitor their fundraisers, and pull exports of donation data.
Fundraising settings
Client admins can brand their Explore Fundraisers page and customize the tooltip text that appears on individual Fundraiser pages. Both of these settings are available in the CSRconnect Admin Portal. See Fundraising Design settings.
Enabling social share for your community allows your users to share fundraisers outside of your organization. These may be referred to as public fundraisers or external fundraisers.
Your employees can share fundraisers externally by using the Share This Page link or by posting to select social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn). If social share is not active, then users are only able to share direct links with their organization and only those with access to CSRconnect are able to donate.
To enable social share, contact your Customer Success Manager. At least one social media platform must be selected.
Your community can require admin approval of Peer to Peer Fundraisers. After employees create fundraisers in the CSRconnect community, admins can approve or decline those fundraisers from the CSRconnect Admin Portal. This feature can be turned on by your Customer Success Manager.
See Peer to Peer Fundraiser Approval for more information.
You can add custom text to your Create a Fundraiser form and to the welcome modals that appear for external donors. Contact your Customer Success Manager to configure these settings.
