Total Raised setting enhancement for Giving Engagement Elements
You can now display the Total Raised for a Giving Engagement Element without setting and displaying a Goal Amount. This gives you greater flexibility when communicating the impact of your Giving Engagement Elements.
Filtering enhancements
We have made the following enhancements to Search Opportunities and Search Organizations:
-
We updated the appearance of the filtering options to create a more consistent experience across Search Organizations and Search Opportunities.
-
The option to hide full volunteer opportunities is now a toggle.
-
We reorganized the Add more filters options in Search Opportunities to help users differentiate the available options. Previously, opportunity types, categories, and tags all appeared under an All Filters list. Now, types, categories, and tags appear in separate groups.
Give
Recurring credit card donations
We’re excited to introduce recurring credit card donations, a powerful new way to provide ongoing support to your favorite causes. With this feature, donors can schedule ongoing credit card pledges with confidence, support the causes they care about, and create meaningful impact over time.
For recurring credit card donations, donors choose a frequency that fits their goals, view upcoming contributions in My Giving, and stay informed with automated email notifications when donations or matches require attention.
This feature empowers donors and admins with new capabilities such as:
-
Setting a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual cadence and begin giving immediately after checkout
-
Donating for a set period of time or until donors decide to cancel
-
Supporting U.S. based charities that use the Blackbaud Giving Fund (BBGF) processor and clients using Blackbaud Integrated Payments (BBIP) supported flows
-
Creating match requests when matching is enabled
-
Processing matches automatically for eligible charities at the time of creation
-
Viewing recurring credit card donations in My Giving
-
Receiving confirmation emails for each charge, or a cancellation email if donors decide to cancel
-
Displaying transparent status updates when an issue occurs, such as a declined card or a change in eligibility
-
Allowing donors to cancel recurring credit card donations, and associated match requests, at any time
At this stage of the roll out, recurring credit card donations have some limitations. They do not roll over to new campaigns, cannot be segmented or excluded using rules or buckets, and cannot be edited or imported.
This enhancement strengthens donor relationships by making generous habits easier to maintain, while giving admins clear, predictable match processing and an intuitive donation management experience.
Note: Recurring credit card donations are enabled by default. Contact your Customer Success Manager to disable this feature if your organization wants to opt out.

Groups
Filtering added to Group events list
You can now filter the group events list by location, date, or charity. We have also updated the group events list to match the recent Search Opportunities design updates.
Reporting
Payment Amount columns nullified in All Giving Report
We have set the Payment Amount and Original Payment Amount columns to NULL in the All Giving Report. These columns showed the payments to charities. This change supports an upcoming enhancement that will streamline our disbursements to charities.
Recurring credit card columns added to Pledge Report and All Giving Report
To help you report on recurring credit card transactions, we have added the following columns to the Pledge Report and the All Giving Report:
-
Pledge Credit Card ID
-
Is Credit Card Pledge Recurring
-
Credit Card Pledge Frequency
-
Recurring Credit Card Pledge Create Date
-
Credit Card Pledge Start Date
-
Credit Card Pledge End Date
You can use the Pledge Report to see the recurring credit card pledge and to project future transactions. Once charged, credit card transactions appear on the All Giving Report.
