Families
Tuition Management is a "payer centric" billing system. To access a single family's record, select Families, select View All Families, filter or search the list of families, and select the family name.
Note: All payers/parents in a family share a single username and password.

Each family or household can include one or two parents. Typically, a student's parents are the payers and the head of the household.
Guardians may be listed as parents.
See Parent (Payer).

Fees, discounts, and payments may be associated with a single student in the family. For example, a family may have multiple students but only one student plans to attend the senior class field trip.
See Students.

If a student's parents are divorced (and possibly remarried), the student may need to belong to multiple families who each pay different amounts. This may result in duplicate instances of the student, since the student's information is repeated for each half of the family.
Note: Your school is responsible for splitting tuition, fees and discounts across different family accounts for a student.

If a student's grandparents or other extended family members pay some of the student's bills, you could create a "family" and list the grandparent as a "parent." Thus, the student will probably belong to multiple "families" who each pay different amounts. This may result in duplicate instances of the student, since the student's information is repeated for each "family."
Alternatively, grandparents can send funds to parent payers, who then make payments for the student.
Note: Your school is responsible for splitting tuition, fees and discounts across different family accounts for a student.

If a trust fund or other party pays some of the student's bills, the funds should be sent to the student's parent(s)/guardian(s) who then make the payment on the student's behalf.
Alternatively, you could create a "family" and list the trust fund manager as a "parent." Thus, the student will probably belong to multiple "families" who each pay different amounts. This may result in duplicate instances of the student, since the student's information is repeated for each "family."
Note: Your school is responsible for splitting tuition, fees and discounts across different family accounts for a student.
