Create Campaign Email

Select New > Campaign email from Email campaign home, or select Create email > Campaign email from the campaign record.

Note: Emails created from the campaign record are associated with that campaign. You may only select a campaign if you create a new campaign from the email campaign home.

Tip: Select Save at any time to protect your progress from session timeouts. The email creation workflow automatically saves your work when you select Next. The last saved timestamp displays in the lower right corner.

Campaign and stationery

  1. Enter an internal name. Your audience will not see this value.

  2. Select a campaign and stationery.

    Tip: Make a copy of the responsive stationery and customize it with your branding.

  3. Select Next.

Content designer

  1. Select a layout.

    Note: Once you have selected a layout you cannot return to this set of options. After layout selection, use the Columns feature to adjust your rows and columns.

  2. Add Image Components, Button Components, Divider Components, and Text Components by dragging Content components from the Email builder to the canvas, or use the HTML editor.

    Note: Saving changes in the HTML editor disables the Email builder. You can start your design with the Email builder and then modify the design with the HTML editor. You cannot code in the HTML editor, and then modify in the Email builder.

  3. Add the required unsubscribe link in a text component.

  4. Select Next.

Email details

  1. Add an internal description. Your audience will not see this.

  2. Enter the name, email address, reply-to email address,Preview Text, and subject line to display to the recipient.

  3. Select Next.

Test email

  1. Manually enter individual email addresses separated by commas, or groups of reviewers.

  2. Select Send test. See Test email to learn more about this feature.

  3. Select Next.

Audience

  1. Select constituent groups to include or exclude from your audience.

    Note: Audience settings automatically populate with campaign audience settings but can be altered for each email.

  2. [Optional] Select Update group members before sending to rebuild eligible query based groups before sending.

  3. [Optional] Select Calculate audience to how many addresses are included in and excluded from the audience.

  4. Select Next.

Send date

  1. Select Send immediately, or select Schedule send, date, time, and time zone.

  2. Select Next.

Confirmation

  1. Review your message details.

  2. Select Save.

  3. Select Confirm (for scheduled sends) or Send (for immediate sends).
