Tell-A-Friend
Tell-a-Friend is designed to help increase event participation by enabling constituents to easily share links to webpages or event information with others via email. It can be applied to various contexts, such as event sign-up pages, articles, advocacy actions, and promotional content.
Tip: Tell-a-Friend can be sometimes be confused with "Forward to a Friend," which refers to forwarding an email message. Instead, Tell-a-Friend generates a link and sends it email directing the recipient to a webpage. See How can I set up a Forward to a Friend Link?
Depending on your configuration, you can customize the link, and your constituents can customize the email message, including the subject and body, or use default content.
What It Does
This feature allows constituents to send event or action links to friends and family to encourage word-of-mouth promotion directly from the event or action page.
The feature includes an opt-out link for recipients, enabling them to unsubscribe from future related messages. See Understand Tell-A-Friend Opt-Out.
